After graduating with a degree in U.S. History and Political Science, Lauren's other accomplishments include honing her producing and writing skills as a 'News Apprentice' at CBS News. This assignment led to an opportunity at Thirty Rock, where she worked alongside some of the most talented news professionals on a LIVE show for MSNBC. In breaking international news stories as a multi-network liaison, she realized how vital the role of communications is to our daily lives- these experiences culminated in making her the communications professional she is today.
As a young adult actor Lauren took on character-driven roles in feature films featured at film festivals across the globe, like the role of Claudette in the "Broken Angels Club." In addition, she starred in "Girl's Room," a Digital Pilot for FOX, and Guest- Starred on NBC's "Medium," HBO's "WEED'S," and ABC Family's "The Secret Life of the American Teenager," to name a few.
Lauren began pursuing her dreams at the tender age of thirteen when she co-created a segment called "Teen Talk," which she produced and hosted. On NBC-6's 'Teen Talk,' Lauren interviewed all-stars like Pit Bull, Nick Carter, Andy Garcia, tennis superstar Maria Sharapova, world-renowned artist Romero Brito, Gloria, and Emilio Estefan, Russell Simmons and Rev Run, and Fame's Debbie Allen. Simultaneously, Lauren guest hosted a live radio segment on Fox News Radio.
